Sustainability and quality

For more than 50 years we have only sold products that satisfy our highest standards of quality and sustainability: We make exclusively natural medicinal products and teas, our sewing workshop only processes natural cotton – of course we don´t use environmentally harmful techniques, chemical products, or tools. Because we take social criteria into account for the production of the fabrics, our products comply with the STANDARD 100 OEKO-TEX.

For this self-awareness, we have been awarded with several independent seals, amongst them the organic-certificate, the market authorization to produce medicinal products and the wholesale trade authorization.

Responsibility for future generations

With the certificate from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) we commit to the responsible use of the forest according to the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. In the Hammer district of Heessen-Dasbeck we run our own piece of forest. In this way, we implement the FSC premises in a consistent way: The carbon footprint of the company is significantly improved by the tree population, felling and planting are kept in a sustainable relationship and furthermore, we use the wood we obtain to fuel our own furnaces which also reduces the use of conventional energy resources.
